Jan has spoken about fruitarianism before. Jan we need

another raw food article for the next issue of HS mag

(if you have the time).

Two fruits that Jan eats and I find generally healthy

for all are avocados and tomatoes because they are low

in sugar as well.

Are their other fruits besides these two, that are low

in sugar.

Technically, nuts are fruits and the healthiest nuts

evidently are walnuts and almonds.

Love to all

Harsha

I think not even the Jains are so strict about food.

This seems to be a modern invention.

What's the deadline for the next issue Harsha?

As the food industry, like the pharmaceutical industry, regards

billions of $, there's an awful lot of corruption going on, not

fundamentally different from what nowadays is known about the tobacco

industry. An eventual article would be on the issue of making the

discovery of the advantages fruitarianism brings regarding wellbeing,

absence of disease etc. Only taking the experiment yourself can

convince, theory OTOH can be sponsored

Two fruits that Jan eats and I find generally healthy

It takes time for the body to adapt to fruits and more so when having

been on a 'cooked starch' based diet (bread & potatoes).

Are their other fruits besides these two, that are low

in sugar.

Coconuts (the white of it) for instance is high in fat. When already

having problems with sugars, it helps to make a blend of fruit and

the white of a coconut, to slow down the resorption of sugars. It

also eases the adaptation to fruit with high sugar content like

grapes and some pears.

Technically, nuts are fruits and the healthiest nuts

evidently are walnuts and almonds.

Contrary to popular belief, the human body needs little protein so a

few nuts or an avocado in a salad will do. Digestibility is greatly

improved by soaking nuts some 12 hours in water.

Peace,

Jan

Love to all

Harsha
