Jan and others:

Who are submitting articles for the next HS mag, the

next couple of months would be good.

We are accepting stuff on diet, exercise, meditation,

gurus, yoga, pranayama tantra, body building,

relationships, anti-aging,and related areas.

Love to all

Harsha

Om Namo Ramanaaya, Sri Bhagavaanee

So vaguely wondering if someone intended to add an article on Ramana

Bhagavan and his love of kanji (Rice-Gruel); this diet (and gluten-

free) foods have attracted attention here in the UK. Certainly in

South India there sems to be a very low incidence of arthritis...

Actually, don't even remember seeing a single case, there, come to

think of it, although somebody somewhere has probably got it,

somehow...

Dearest one in Bhagavan,

That would make a wonderful article (Sri RAmana's favorite foods). Perhaps

Harshaji can find someone like you to write it.

Respectfully, however, generally, the Indian diet is not considered optimal by

health experts. Many Indians, unfortunately, die of heart attacks at an early

age. Swami Yogananda died of a heart attack. He ate too much and was a bit on

the chubby side. Many well fed Swamis have similar risk factors but not the

skinny swamis.

Of course, for a saint of the caliber of Sri Ramana dietary issues are not

important.

There are different variations of the yogic sattvic diet. An article on that

would be nice as well.

Love and blessings

Love, serve, and be helpful but without getting disgusted, tired, pessimistic,

and exhausted
