Life was magnificent in all it's splendor. we were only unhappy when we were hungry, tired, sleepy, hurt physically, and/or misunderstood something. all these things were easily transcended by suitable means, and we were soon back to being simple. playing was fun. the imagination ruled our ids, our egos, and most every waking moment. think back before we walked upright, i.e. . when it rained, we got wet. when the sun shined, we smiled more. we found fire to be hot, and earth to be fruitful. we had not yet developed those insipid parts of our minds which enslave us to some theocracy. the *sun* was god, the moon was goddess, the clouds inspired us towards chariots, the stars were holes in the sky. fire is hot, ice is cold, holes can be filled, and mounds can be brought down. caves were home; providing shelter from the storms. the storms were surely the wrath - the birds singing meant music - famine meant hunger, and providence was many fish and meat and whatever roots and plants were plentiful. now we are all so 'advanced'. our minds have built freeways unto the oxymoronical sections, which soon leaves 'agog' behind. 'agog' is that portion of ourselves which we many times neglect, to our confusion and ill health. now it is late, and we have many many avatars from which to select. the only problem is, the freeways to our minds have become congested with the words, and - although we can ken and successfully adhere to any given system, we must include the 'agog', or risk imbalance. at a certain point, it is time to STOP thinking - to 'stop making sense'. certain underlying principles are woven as 'truths' into all the various theocracies, and they all hold in common agog, or some deviation resulting from, or some acclimation resulting from 'agog'. thusly, to be most efficient, it is neccessary to not adhere continuously to some system of written or spoken words which are *pointing* at the moon, because when we are so busy studying words and notions we are likely to *miss* the moon altogether. compassion is boundless. we can be totally overcome by it, but it does not kill us. when we apply the principles of 'agog', then what all the avatars are saying and have said, and ya da ya da ya da - ALL begin to make much more sense. 'agog' is NOT the 'id'. 'agog' is beyond the 'id' - being connected to our environments, being responsible for our actions, cause and effect, direct metaphysical/bioenvironmental paradoxes ((cold/hot, hunger/satiation, wet/dry, fast/slow, fight or flight (borrowed from 'id')), light/dark, nice/mean, opaque/transparent...and the list goes on. it is SO very simple, that even the most brilliant minds know it, evade it, and try to ignore it. the very simple, such as children and animals, and plants - they all embrace 'agog'. 'agog' is BEING HERE NOW. 'agog' is a most critical part of all systems. remember it and use it wisely. with all my blessings.
