^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^> :) hi tony... why those "sayings of jesus"

sound more and more like a> copy of classic zen texts? "if you have a

stick - i'll give it to you,> if you do not - i'll take it away from

you" (basho, i think)> > :) and i contest your purport. i take it to

yosyNamaste,When I read it occurred to me that it could mean the

opposite. I did think of writing the purport that way but I thought

it may be too obtuse for some folks. It has many translations

depending on the translator I suppose. However it is a truth that if

people have no spirituality at all it cannot be added

to..........ONS...Tony. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

"... I thought it may be too obtuse for some folks."

:) i think you either underestimate people's intelligence or overestimate your own...

"...if people have no spirituality at all..."

??? is that possible? people are not material beings aspiring for the

spiritual. people ARE spiritual beings, messing up in material

natters due to having forgotten this fact.

some of the most truly "spiritual" people i've been lucky to meet

never mentioned spirituality and such matters; while most of the so

called "spiritually oriented" people are just hypocrites trying to

gain something not tangible, but desirable...

btw, what language is "gospel of thomas" translated from? pali? (thomas lived in goa, didn't he?)

yosy
