Namaste,

48) Jesus said, "If two make peace with each other in this one

house, they will say to the mountain, 'Move Away,' and it will

move away."

Purport:O'Clery.

If the lower self and the Higher Self are united, it is Liberation.

If one is Liberated all power accrues to he that overcomes. It is

said that a Liberated person can only speak and command the truth,

so whatever they say—it happens......ONS...Tony.

"lower" and "higher" self are illusory, and were never seperated.

liberation is only one: freedom from an illusion that one is the

doer...

"truth", said nasrudin, "is something which i never said - nor will i

ever"

the problem with the words of the wise, uttered according to time,

place and people, is that when they are repeated by the ignorant, the

symbolic is taken as literal, the literal as symbolic etc. then come

those who purport "to know" and explain it others according to their

beliefs...

wasn't it jc who said "beware of the blind leading the blind"?

Namaste,

As I have said to you on several occasions I have tried to write

this for ordinary people, or at least for people who are not as

advanced as you are. You are of course right as usual, must be hard

being right all the time? I know that all is one and not two, now

Old argument Tony..put to Bishop Berkeley eons ago.

Is it hard being right all the time Tony?

Are you not aware of your own cantankerousness?

They may be sayings of Jesus, but are used by Tony for whatever his purposes may be.

Why should you be dividing people into ordinary and advanced?

According to Maharaj's formula based on the population of Mumbai,

only about 60,000 people on the planet even understand non dualism

intellectually never mind realise it. So most on here are probably

Namaste,

Who said I was teaching? I am giving purports on the Gospel of

Thomas and they are only one of a number of purports I could give

for each saying. However they can only ever be my opinion. If you

don't like it you don't have to read it or respond to it. However if

you have a better idea then perhaps you should give purports for the

whole hundred odd sayings. I am also giving purports on the Gospel

of Matthew afterwards. I know Swami Prabhavananda gave some on part

of it, but mine will not be based on his. I may then move on to John

and perhaps some of the sayings from Qumran. I'm working on a book

about Jesus including the influence of India and his background in

the Essenes....You could be really busy---go for your life!!!

Isn't giving purpots something like teaching??

Good to know that they are only your opinions. You are planning to

give a lot of them it seems.

You know Tony.. If you used these saying for learning yourself,

meditated long and deep on them they might be helpful to you.

I know that you also long for truth, that is clear. Patience is a great virtue.

Namaste,

A purport can only be an opinion unless it is by a Juvanmukta or

Sadguru. However opinions can lead to insights. I'm sure I can learn

from them, one of my most powerful lessons was given by an ant when

I was in Australia. I am only sharing what I am doing on here as

prasad, if people don't want it then I will stop posting them.

were never seperated.liberation is only one: freedom from an illusion

that one is the doer..."truth", said nasrudin, "is something which i

never said - nor will i ever"the problem with the words of the wise,

uttered according to time, place and people, is that when they are

literal as symbolic etc. then come those who purport "to know" and

explain it others according to their beliefs...wasn't it jc who said
