Guest guest
Namaste All, One can be thankful that we don't have people suffering from the Lucknow Disease. This it seems was started by a group of Westerners, who else, in Lucknow. What it entails is an extension of Vndism to eliminating the 'I' in speech altogether. So they talk like this-- 'This body is going to the toilet'. This body is going to meet that body etc etc. Pretty hard to keep up. I wonder how they explain things if they aren't celibate and have to work out, 'who is doing what with what to whom'. hahahhhah.........Of course the problem in intellectuality, denying duality in such a way or vndism in speech isn't the way to go IMO. Never mind qualifying speech and pronouns find out 'Who does all this'?..............ONS..Tony.
Guest guest
Hi Tony, Good points. This problem (Lucknow Disease) arises because of the failure to clearly distinguish the Absolute from the Relative view of things. When on is "clear" then one uses and does whatever is appropriate to the occasion. No problem. Papaji didn't have that problem.
