My father wasn't a non violent man as I remember hahah but I could see that Gandhi had an effect on him. This is I suppose my point on how the British reacted to Gandhi's non violence campaign. Many British in India had been 'infected' with much Indian Philosophy, and this gave them a disadvantage when dealing with Gandhi--and Swaraj.
