Guest guest
Namaste, Dharma=Right Conduct. In the Bhagavata Purana it mentions the descent of the Kumaras on to the planet. This was to restore Dharma, that the Rakshasas had distorted. Two descents are mentioned; one failed for they sat around meditating and wouldn't breed, so a second descent was necessary. This was at the time of the separation of the sexes into separate male and females, and was to set a path of realisation for thle most ignorant exploited beings on the planet. Every one has a right to this path, and a system of sadhana to vidya. Through Ahimsa mainly. After the defeat of Ravana and the Rakshasa/Ogres of Lanka, by Ram; Some 12-21 thousand years ago or more perhaps, Ram indicated they would be back again. Today most countries are run by adharmic forces or Rakshasas. Some may even appear spriritual but then Ravana was a Siva Bhakta. Why is this important to spiritual people? Well most are still in the dream so it is real to them, only a Jivanmukta can see it for what it is or isn't. So Dharma is important for the lowliest person to have the opportunity of learning about realisation. This cannot be achieved easily by the Rakshasas of violence and greed interfering. I doubt there are any Dharmic countries on the planet. We have the obvious rich, violent proned Rakshasa countries like the USA, Israel, China, some Europeans etc. Then we have the partially Dharmic countries like India and some of the less developed states. Everything is upside down, instead of being instructed in the Dharma people are used as resources for consumerism by the financiers and money men, and their minions in the media and industries. It is the Kali Yuga, an age of iron, machines and quarrels and lies, the most non spiritual age. We can only change ourselves for sure but we can influence others as well, this way more people will learn about the road to realisation. Just sitting in ones living room or on the net saying I am I etc is all very good but it is unreal if one isn't a Jivanmukta. Hence the need for Sadhana and Dharma. Anything else is just egoistic diversion..................ONS..Tony.
