Guest guest
What is spiritual wisdom other than being gentle and easy with oneself and others in awareness. Gain and loss, pain and pleasure, joy and sorrow, are threads of life. Life lived in awareness is the only meditation. Our talents and strengths do not raise us above anyone. Our shortcomings do not diminish our original nature. Sages see action and inaction, speech and silence to be the same. So there is no need to struggle. The steadiness of awareness and balance is a gift of Satsanga. In the company of good and wise people who know the nature of reality, the ego gradually loses its hold and pure awareness reveals itself as the eternal presence. LOL In the very sense of "no need", is the sense of the "need" and hence the very struggle to now have "no need". LOL The sense of struggle ends when there is no sense of a stake, (whether having spiritual overtones or other wise) with the moment. Irrespective of whether the moment is of action or inaction. Obviously if the new "stake" is to end "all stakes", it is the same game. That is why "it" is a happening, a happening which cannot be done, brought about, through some casual links, either as mentation or as physicality. Seeing that it cannot be done or brought about, if the seeing is total, is the end of the sense of the struggle. While actioning or inactioning continues, in the moment. The steadiness of awareness and balance is a gift of Satsanga. In the company of good and wise people who know the nature of reality, the ego gradually loses its hold and pure awareness reveals itself as the eternal presence. There is no casual link. Which does not mean that the sense of a stake and hence the sense of the struggle, may not end in such a milieu, as described.
