The Self is hidden because it is manifest, yet near.

With a water filled belly, why be a dry lipped jam jar?

How can you see red, green and blue, lest you first see light?

As your mind was lost in seeing colours they veiled the light.

At night these three colours were hidden by the darkness,

So you knew your vision of colour came from that light.

There’s no vision of bright rainbow colours without light,

And with the perceived inward colours of phantasy and dream,.

Outer light is derived from the Sun, Moon and stars,

Inner light comes from the splendid beams of the divine Self.

Light which sheds light to an eye is the light from one’s Heart,

This light of God is separate from intellect and the senses.

 

God made pain and grief so joy can be known by its opposite.

Hidden things are understood through their opposites,

Since God has no opposite he is hidden to the visual sight.

But he sees us, as he saw Saint Moses on Mount Sinai.

Know that form springs from the Real , like King Lion from his den,

As voice and speech must always spring from prior thought.

You are grossly ignorant about the origin of your thoughts,

If the waves of your speech are fair, then their sea must be noble.

 

When waves of thought splashed from the fount of wisdom,

She created the outward forms of larynx and vocal speech.

The form was born from the Word and then expired again.

The form came from formlessness and then went back ,

As the Prophet said “verily unto Him must we all return”.

Every instant we die and return, this world is but a moment,

Our thought is a sharp arrow shot in air by Almighty God,

How can it stay hovering air ? it must comes back to God,

The world is ever renewed, we are unaware of that fact,

Because it stays the same in its magic appearance.

Life is always renewing itself like a spring water stream,

But the body bears the illusion of a lengthy endurance.

>From life’s speed it seems everlasting , like a fire brand

Whirling round and round in the hand of a juggler.

The swift motion of God’s action gives time and duration.

Evn if the seeker after truth is a learned pedagogue,
