#1. Ramana Maharshi taught a means to

Direct, Immediate, Instant Self-Abidance

that is far more effective, rapid and direct

than the method many people call Self-inquiry.

 

This method is the most rapid means

to be liberated from the ego

and abide in Infinite-eternal-love-bliss-awareness,

Nirvana, the kingdom of heaven within you.

 

This method has been mostly overlooked by

those who study Sri Ramana Maharshi's teachings.

 

At the Awareness Love Bliss group,

the differences between the method of

Direct, Immediate, Instant Self-abidance,

as taught by Sri Ramana Maharshi

and the method of asking

“To whom do these thoughts arise?” and “Who am I?”

as outlined in the book “Who am I?”

will be pointed out.

 

The reasons why Direct, Immediate, Instant Abidance

is so much more effective will be pointed out also.

 

#2. The Awareness Love Bliss group

will point out in detail why so few people succeed

in ending the ego delusion

even after they have studied the teachings

of great sages like:

 

Sri Ramana Maharshi, Sri Muruganar, Sri Sadhu Om,

Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and Sri Annamalai Swami.

 

For example if 10,000 people study

Sri Ramana’s teachings and only one of those people

end the ego illusion in this lifetime

and are free of all suffering and sorrow,

remaining in eternal-love-bliss,

and the other 9,999 are not freed of the ego illusion

in this lifetime,

 

the question is:

 

why do the 9,999 miss the opportunity

to end the ego in this lifetime?

 

What strategies does the ego use

to preserve its imaginary self?

 

How does the ego distort the teachings

to make them ineffective?

 

What are the differences in approach

between that one in 10,000

who succeed in bringing the ego illusion to an end

and the 9,999 who do not?

 

The way people miss is similar

regardless of what spiritual path they are on,

therefore the detailed pointing out in

the Awareness Love Bliss group will be of benefit

to everyone on every spiritual path.

 

#2. Ramana Maharshi’s teachings will be looked at,

one passage, one saying at a time

and then the question:

 

how do people distort the passage

or miss the essential import of the passage

will be explored.

 

One of the ways people become part of the 9,999

instead of the one, is to not take enough care

in choosing the source of

Sri Ramana Maharshi’s teachings.

 

Great care will be taken in the choice of the source

of Sri Ramana Maharshi’s teachings

and a detailed explanation of the reason

for such a choice and the importance

of such a choice will be given.
