Guest guest
Mrs. Teresa Heinz Kerry's message to the Women of the world!!! THE wife of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, Mrs Teresa Heinz-Kerry, defended her right to be 'opinionated' when she addressed the 2004 Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night. 'My right to speak my mind, to have a voice, to be what some have called 'opinionated', is a right I deeply and profoundly cherish,' she said. 'My only hope is that, one day soon, women - who have all earned the right to their opinions - instead of being labelled opinionated, will be called smart or well-informed, just as men are.' Bravo! thanx for speaking up for women's rights to have a 'say' in all matters!

Namaste, I'm always getting in trouble with my sense of humour, it is typically, dry, Irish/British and often not understood by Americans. Do not take offence I watched her speech as well, but it is all politics after all. All the tweedle dees and the tweedle dums. I do believe in feminine equality, why should there be a difference? I actually knew Helen Reddy personally, when I lived in Australia- you know the song 'I am woman'....So don't take offence at my sense of humour. ..ONS..Tony. In fact when I had a business I was amongst the first to have a predominance of women managers at the senior levels. Mainly because they were more conscientious, less ego orientated and more empathetic. That translated to a more successful business, whilst I had it hahha. Because I quote the gospel or do purports doesn't make me a good person, even many gurus can quote all kinds of wonderful sayings yet at the same time be scoundrels. Thank you anyway...ONS...Tony.
