Moreover different words which are used in the spiritual arena (awareness, consciousness, the ultimate subject, Self), that people disagree about, often point to the same thing. The reality is beyond words and thoughts. So one can use words to the extent feasible but becoming obsessed with particular words is not useful. There is not much difference between Jnani and others. The difference is in the look, the outlook. The vedas declare clearly and as Sri RAmana has said, The sages see the same reality everywhere. It is the Reality of the Self underlying all physical, psychological and spiritual phenomena. Having Realized the Self, a sage see all phenomena arising from, existing in, and subsiding in the Self. Methods and techniques are all phenomena. Their ultimate utility exists only in purifying the mind and facilitating the mind to subside into the Heart, that is pure Awareness, One Whole. Existence and Consciousness and Bliss, as One Whole. The witness disappears here and Self manifests in fullness. Even now we are awareness, although it is manifesting through the mind, and the Ananda part, the Eternal part is not clear and visible. Holding on to this thread of awareness, with the help of whatever method comes natural, the mind subsides and the Self manifests as Awareness It Self. Pascal once said something like the Heart has its reasons that mind cannot know. One's own Heart shows the path and finally One Sees and Knows as the Heart...
