Oh, Tony, you see so much, but see so little. You deny the inner spiritual

craving

that is in everyone, no matter their place or appearance. In this, you make

the first great mistake of one trying to be on a spiritual path--and a

profound failure by Christian standards, which is that you have judged others.

It

is not for you or I to judge the sincerity or purity of any other person's

motives or spirit. You damage yourself and the faith of others in so doing.

Madonna is not the stage image or the publicized snapshots. Underneath all

that

she too is a real person. She has more challenges in being herself than you

or I do because, like any famous and packaged person, she is surrounded by

daily reinforcement of having to "live up to an image." She should be

credited for seeking to break out of that image, even if it is only a fraction

of

the distance that we might believe should be undertaken. Kabbalah is not a

religion...and it hardly serves as a path or practice, it is ancient

hocus-pocus

and numerology, tied to the name-relations of the Hebrew Aleph-Bet and the

Talmud. Does it bring enlightenment? No! But it can by osmosis lead one to

investigate other things spiritual, metaphysical and beyond the simple

materialism of this commercial world. So, in the end, it's a good thing. But

your

disdain and disrespect are not worthy from a Christian commentators

perspective...recall, Mary Magdalene was the Madonna of her time, and Madonna

was the

mother of Jesus in those days. Someone will likely write a book on the

modern versus historical relationship of all of these people and names, now

that

they are all linked by Kabbalah.
