Lost Continent of Atlantis ( Directory) Atlantis, the Greek philosopher Plato wrote in 360 BC, was an island in the Atlantic Ocean where an advanced civilization developed some 11,500 years ago until it was hit by a cataclysmic natural disaster and sank beneath the waves. Geographer Ulf Erlingsson, whose book explaining his theory will be published next month, says the measurements, geography, and landscape of Atlantis as described by Plato match Ireland almost exactly. "I am amazed no one has come up with this before, it's incredible," he told Reuters.

I have often felt like a jellyfish out of water. Its so great to see you and Zenbob posting here again, and Yosy too. Maybe you'll get lucky and Harsha won't have time to catch up on all the posts when he returns. Trust me, Harsha has a soft spot in his heart for Tony. Tony has many privileges, and boring you guys is the least of them. Let's move on and talk about someone else, like me, for instance. Now I have read some boring drivel in my life, and written plenty, too. Love you all, Gloria

However Ireland isn't a continent, and even after Atlantis broke up into islands 28,000 years ago, these islands were very big. Ireland is small. However we do have traditions and stories about this magic techno land of miracles etc. We call it the land of eternal youth, for the people who lived there didn't look old etc, and it is now beneath the sea. Atlantis, Aztlan, Aflan, and in Celtic Avalon. The remains of Atlantis now are in the Caribean, Bimini-Bahamas, Bermuda, Canaries and Azores. The descendents are everywhere, Mayas, Basques, Irish, Berbers etc etc etc...........ONS..Tony.

She wanted me to go to Bimini to scuba dive over some ancient ruins, with some University People. She said they were Atlantean and that I would remember them. She also predicted that I would go to India and meet Sai Baba, whom she had already met. Some other stuff about my first wife dying, 1973, at a young age and how many children I would have, the death of one,1971, also came true. I think her name was Phyliss and her friend was, called Ray and his mother was called Yolanta, she was from Albania, I think. I didn't think of Sai Baba again, until 1985, perhaps I should have! Then I wouldn't have been caught in that trap. These ruins turned out to be the famous roads of Bimini and some other stuff, like springs on Andros etc. Discovered by a uni prof called Valentine, If I remember rightly. Cayce talks about them in his readings but I didn't read any Cayce for at least ten years later. He said they were part of one of the last Atlantean Islands called Poseidia. I later read of Atlantis etc in the Hindu Puranas much later on................ONS..Tony.

Namaste, The other interesting point is that there is a blood relationship between some areas of Ireland and Scotland and the Basques. The only languages that are at all similar in any way to the Basques are North American languages. Not in vocab anymore but in construction etc..........Interesting eh?.........ONS..Tony. Guest guest
It is good to Basque in the glow of Lost Antlantis...the Hiberians, Iberians and Portoguese from the Azores all have an ancient oral tradition of being related to the Atlantean people...many such stories did my family share with me, and many of them were descendents of people from the Azores... Interesting because back when AMRA (Ancient Mediterranean Research Association) began it's dives off of Bimini to find the pottery and columns, roads, etc., and even the great harbor, many of my friends and I participated with this group and gave them some directions based on some ancient mariner techniques of locating areas by triangulation from their sources...such as using the Pillars of Hercules (Gibralter) and the Azores as two cardinal points and then drawing those points westward to the Caribean and Bimini...it's a perfect fit...but we have yet to find the rest of the culture or ruins in North America...no doubt buried deep under many modern cities along the eastern seaboard. I believe I once dreamed of this ancient culture... They invented the banana and perhaps even had developed the modern breed of cattle... They also had an odd way of levitating bread and rolling stones... Peace, Zenbob

I notice that they have found some interesting possible ruins on the south side of Cuba. There is believed to be a pyramid south of the Bahamas that is three times the size of that at Gizeh. Nothing stays the same the land surface rolls up and down creating seas and mountains................ONS....Tony.
