Sheesh, Tony...you miss so much, when you try too hard. Jesus refers to finding the world as finding the body, means that the world is the shadow of the creator, and he who finds the creator is superior to merely knowledge of the world alone. How can we see a swan or a night sky studded with stars and not intimate the Creator from these things? When we read a Bible or other religious text, we are recognizing the world, but not finding the Creator. When we find the authentic state of knowing the spiritual from our own experience, we transcend the world and join with the creator. Tony...the very act of trying to write these little blurbles is tantamount to totally taking the absolute 180 degree course from that which Jesus (Or supposedly Thomas) was suggesting. If you merely add to the "book" rather than to the substance of the experience, you further deaden the nature of religious experience, rather than enliven it. Are you starting to get any of this????? Why are you so darned thick at times???? LOL And what is all this gibberish about Israel and Arabs and Gentiles that you have gotten into with Wim???? Are you somehow or other engaged in multiple internal dialogues with a gaggle of confused and socially isolated people from 1938???? Tony, just don't go there...it's not worthy of you or this list...
