Guest guest
We have a proverb here in what once was the Trolls homeland 'Det kan gå troll i ord'. Trolls can walk in (get into) words. It is used in to derscribe unpleasent events coming true when talked about as possible. ( Something to think about for the writers in the holy wood ) And I have never heard anyone here call sombody a troll. It is supposed to be admitted by the person himself, like we all do from time to time. But generally that's kept within the family : ) Alan

Guest guest
When proof is in the pudding. A few days ago I was at a gathering at a cabin by the sea. I was careful to pull my socks high up on the outside of my jeans becaiuse there are many ticks in the grass there. A woman was there who maybe thought I was hysterical because she sent me a mail on my mobile phone as I had left. It was a small rhyme about a woman, now tick in norwegian does not rhyme with di** but with where this woman had gotten a tick. So today I met the cabin-owners wife and she told me the woman who sent me the rhyme on waking up the next morning had a discovered tick 'there'. She said a mail with congratulations would perhaps help. Alan Al Larus [erilarend] 11. august 2004 02:57 Proverb We have a proverb here in what once was the Trolls homeland 'Det kan gå troll i ord'.
