Namaste, I have posted this several times on here-------Nisargadatta said that only one in the population of Mumbai can understand advaita intellectually never mind achieve it. At the time Mumbai or Bombay had about ten million people. At that calculation it means only 60,000 people on the planet understand it intellectually. Narrow this down to those that achiev liberation and it is only a handful...........ONS..Tony.

Namaste, Actually this is ignorance. We are not the body or the sperm. Even in duality we are a soul that goes into a body. Could be any body. A soul doesn't enter the body until near the fourth semester anyway, (It won't enter unless there is a chance of survival and the vibrations in the family are right), and sometimes the soul occupier changes before birth...............ONS..Tony. Did you discover some transnondual dimension for this to be possible...? Could it be that you are now tripping over your flawed notions and tidbits of fragmented knowledge? Your answer only mixes apples and oranges that's all. If my soul has the attributes of a troll, then I would be a troll, nothing to do with body or sperm etc...........ONS..Tony
Guest guest
No Tony, either you language use was flawed or it was your thinking. When you said "even in duality" why did you say "even" when duality presupposes what you said. May be you meant to say "even in nonduality" but in nonduality your notion it doesn't work... Of course you will weasel yourself out of this too... Now make up your mind... or before you press the "Send" buttons reread your post. Oh and by the way this group is based on nonduality... so what does Body/Soul dualism end up doing here? Have you actually ever seriously enquired "Who Am I?' Thanks Tony, that is exactly what I meant when I suggested you recollect yourself... I may remind you though when you approach that boundary again in responses to others... Ah, but then somehow you just cannot help yourself, Tony and you keep replying and replying to Wim and vice-versa. And I do mean vice when I mention this verse. Would everyone involved in this family feud just please take a breather, go to your separate corners, place your Wizard Thinking Caps on, face the wall and take a time out? LOL Soon we will need to refer to you guys as the "Hatfields and McCoys." There once was a debater from Decatur Who proudly claimed he always had the last word Sooner or later... He met a fine lass who had learned how to sass (She'd gotten her degree from Vasser) And she laughed and said, "I can beat your [ ]" "Cannot" he replied "Can to" she cried "Not!" quoth he "Can and have" claimed she "Nothing will deter me!" Said he with a wheeze "Then take a look at these" Said the lass making a pass By lifting her sweater to do him one (or two) better He dropped his jaw at all that he saw And this should all teach us That the best may become speechless When in the presence of a master, a mistress, Or a future missus. -Zenbob
