Guest guest Posted August 28, 2004 Report Share Posted August 28, 2004 For some reason, flowers bloom their first, single bloom for me on Wednesdays. I don't know why...I just know it has happened numerous times for the last few years, sometimes on a Wednesday when something else was happening, a special day for me. Once or twice, it was not a "good" day, and the flower acted as a salve to my wounds. Other times, it was almost as if it were a gift to celebrate the day, like the sunflower, which bloomed this Wednesday, in a patch where I had planted some seeds weeks ago. It was the only bloom. I had just looked at the patch the day before, thinking that they would bloom soon as I saw the huge buds. The next morning, as I stood on my front porch, I looked up into the front yard, and there it was, greeting my day, with a gift of surya...
