I find that out of the many traditions they actually try to live rather than use it for worship only. To me Saranagathi/Surrender is the most important thing, for as we are not the doer we can not achieve moksha or union with Krishna/Sakti. I was very impressed with the devotees continual Japa and constant sadhana to purify themselves and their minds, in order that IMO they could be liberated from all sins and karma........Hare Krishna and Om Namah Sivaya.........Tony. You are very dear to Me, therefore, I shall tell this for your benefit. 18.65 Fix your mind on Me, be devoted to Me, offer service to Me, bow down to Me, and you shall certainly reach Me. I promise you because you are very dear to Me. 18.66 Setting aside all noble deeds, just surrender completely to the will of God (with firm faith and loving contemplation). I shall liberate you from all sins (or bonds of Karma). Do not grieve. http://www.realization.org/page/namedoc0/gita/gita18.htm ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ oh yes, the beloved divine song was for me a key to unlock all spiritual texts.... as one of my teachers said "the bhagavad gita is like a matchbox with 700 matches (slokas). no need to burn the whole box... take one match, strike it on the stone of experience, and with care and diligence you can build a fire to burn to ashes the whole world of illusion". do you know the ashtavakra gita, dan? http://www.swcp.com/~robicks/gita00.htm yosy
