AWAITING YOUR ESTEEMED ANSWER in GD i am michael Michael: The mind, the world, the universe are big places and there is a lot of room for apparent contradiction which still can exist in a timeless harmony. Choices are real, we make them and they alter our lives. Divine love and spiritual guidance is also real...and we cannot ever fully understand or see all of the complex layers, the interactions wherein we are part of a greaater whole, a larger view of interactions. Someone may have a copy of this account whereby someone saves someone's son, and then in gratitude that father provides money for the poor man's son to go to medical school...who becomes a doctor and then saves the life of the benefactor or his family (I am not certain of the relationship here) and other related stories where there may be many generations removed before the entwined and seemingly random events combine to alter history and many lives. We do not see these mechanisms usually, and sadly most are never documented for this reason. We must always make our choices, and do so with the faith that we do them to the best of our ability...that is the responsibility of a thinking spiritual being...and we should also know, fully and completely that when some very very important, crushingly difficult choices or problems confront us, that then is the perfect moment to just relax and allow the Universe to guide us, move us, protect us...and that if the results do not seem to our liking...(and living in a state of grace has nothing to do with the universe doing things for our liking or satisfaction!) we must keep our spiritual center and know that we serve many purposes, and the universe may delight us, but it is not there simply for our own personal delight....and eventually all that live will suffer, have loss, feel tragedy and eventually move on to other states of existence. When a person cannot move past feeling loss or hurt, personal tragedy in their life, and then believes that life is a dark and terrible thing, that is a terrible afront to Nature itself. We are bound by the terms, the contract of life and this contract warns us from the very first moments that life is painful, a struggle, most living creatures have but brief existences, and that there are no guarantees...but the mature and spiritually centered person, though deeply feeling their loss, knows that they must move on in life and seek to contribute to the good of others, no matter what...because that is the right thing to do and because those we have loved would want to see us doing well in the world and helping others. I hope that this has not been too long a reply. I hope that it resolves any apparent conflict. In this universe, always remember that very striking contrasts can exist and often must exist in order for our universe to exist as it does. Things can be seemingly contradictory without being absolutely mutually excluding. That's a lesson in tolerance, too. Love, Zenbob
