Guest guest
Through popular demand, I am giving some "best foods" on my mind right now. Perhaps David Bozzi can add to this. Recently I saw that the grocery shops are now selling milled flax seeds. Flax seeds are fairly inexpensive and very high in Omega 3 fats which have been found to have a good health effect. Here is an article on omega 3 for vegetarians that seems to have a lot of good information. http://www.andrews.edu/NUFS/essentialfat.htm Broccoli and tomatoes are good too. Love to all Harsha

I said I am a vegetarian and cannot eat fish oil. I told him that I would buy some flaxseed or linseed oil( for uk.ers). He didn't seem impressed. I returned a couple of months later after taking a tablespoon everyday of the pure oil, with my triglycerides at 2.1. He was a little surprised. It also prevents cancers. Also many many years ago Cayce said that eating 3 almonds a day would prevent cancer. This is now a scientific conclusion, but due to pollution etc I would double it. I grind mine up and sprinkle them on my cereal in the morning..........ONS...Tony.

We buy our whole seeds in 25lb. bags and keep them cool. We mill several cups of them ourselves every so often (as needed) in a small coffee grinder. This way, we lose the least nutrients and save the most money. When folks do choose to buy milled flaxseeds for convenience, I would recommend first getting them from the refrigerated section, as the oils in them do go rancid if they've been on the shelf for a while. Otherwise, checking the date on the package for freshness might be a good idea. Love to those who eat flaxseeds, and Love to those who don't! Hi Harsha. First thing that comes to mind is *pure* water. This a more negative suggestion (in the sense it suggests what to subtract rather than what to add). I use a water distiller. Though reverse osomosis technology is almost just as good it is more expensive and wasteful (with respect to energy & money) Filtered (or bottled water) is not what I'm alluding to. *Pure* water makes a huge difference. It's a good place to start...
