I don't have it. Last year a coach in England lost a good six figure job because he said that the crippled people got what they had coming. Crippled people read his comments and it is possible to believe they were hurt. How hard is it to not say these things? When the truth can hurt people instead of lead them out of darkness it is a weapon. Care must be used. There is no advaitin principle against this. Guest guest
Dear Christine or someone who knows the answer: Can you please quote me the Hindu Shastras which specifically lay out karma principles as seemingly defined by you and Tony? An inquiring mind which does not exist, but exists whilst it exists, and then ceases to exist when I think too hard!!!, Joyce He is just talking about the law of karma as laid down in Hindu Shastras. It has nothing to do with morals. It is about cause and effect only.
Guest guest
Dear Bobby, do not think that I don't understand, the thing is that we are not at the job office. We are at Harsha Satsang-Ramana Guru and it should be allowed here to talk about karma. Ramana believed that everything is preordained and part of the law of karma. At the same time he was the most compassionate man alive. I am not saying people deserve their misfortune, I am just believing in the law of cause and effect. I have a hard life myself and a soft heart. I just felt that there are many here ready to pounce on Tony so I am taking a bit of the punch, because I value his postings. Guest guest
Speaking about the office, I had a colleague who went to a managment training course and when he arrived early in the morning everything was wrong. No hotel room , no parking, booking, name tag and general information. So he was very angry when he was the last person coming to the meeting. Everybody began to laugh as this was the first point on the agenda. It is easy to see that we 'hit' back we do it with the same force as we feel ourselves. In some situations doing so can be intelligent behaviour, but generally it is not. And just counting to ten is maybe not enough. I would be among the first to defend the freedom of speech and accept most stubborn statements, but I will first begin to believe it when contradictions arrive. Guest guest
I have a very busy day today, but I just wanted to say before I go off to my day, to all of you... Have a nice day!!! Really, and don't get lost in the rhetoric. For the Truth is pure love, and anything else is misguided egoism, bound by karmic chains :-) You either "know" this or you don't. Talk means nothing, if you have not known the power of the love coursing through your entire being, taking over the body and dissolving the ego into the ocean of Nirguna brahman. Love and more love, Joyce PS Were we not talking about Kundalini? Whatever happened to that discussion? I wonder "why" it got diverted, yet again ;-) - "Jill Eggers" <eggersj <> Sunday, October 24, 2004 7:54 AM Re: Re: to ERA NO GOD Hello Christina, So much of what Tony has to say, in general, has validity and some thoughtful truth in it.
