I even use rituals and mantras in my own sadhana. However that is only a relative truth and doesn't reflect Ramana's ultimate teaching. It doesn't contradict anything that I have said in the last little while. It is useful for people at that stage of development, and makes them feel secure etc. Ramana's audience must always be considered when quoting him.
