Thx Wim . That's an interesting concept I was reading in a post above about the bounce back or seeing one"self" in the eyes of a Saint. The interconnectedness one feels when this sort of thing happens. What varifies these happenings for me is that I do not know that they are a Saint, just happend to flip thru some pages in an open book without looking @ the title. I recall it was Pir Vilyat Khan, (spell) the son whom I knew nothing about. His eyes were closed + his head tipped to the side. I felt as if I were twirling inside + great peace. I stared + stared as if absorbing.....time non-existant any longer. Later I read about him, realizing that the pic was one of him doing the whirling dervish dance. **I danced with him **., , , Guess that's the best way to write it. I studied his writings + those of his father which led me to Hafiz + other Sufi poetry that takes my breath away in its beauty. It's like the main Great White Light which is composed of all colours. The many colours + shades being the heart or pearl of many different religions. Sometimes when we look, we're just recognizing that ancient "melody", , , we start humming along to The Tune. As an Independent Catholic, I really love hearing + listening to the *variations* on a Theme. Love To All, + Maureen
