Guest guest
Namaste All, I actually really have no interest in politics, or rather politicians at all, anyone who has ever read anything I have written would understand this. My quote from the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi-------Arun Gandhi was just that. He was advising a spiritual/Ahimsa non violent approach to men soaked in violence. Gandhi told Haaretz Newspaper..'The attempt to get justice through revenge accomplishes nothing.' Arun took part in a joint Palestinian- Israeli peace rally-Christian-Muslim and Jewish leaders, in Bethlehem Satish Kumar, the Jain Master, uses the So Ham mantra..or'You are therefore I am'. Satish says quoting Gandhiji, ' you cannot divide the world in two; a spiritual life in one compartment and the everyday world of politics and family in another'. ....So unfortunately sometimes we have to tilt at windmills, to preserve Ahimsa, unless we are 'Realised' of course. MK Gandhi was a great tilter, and salt maker.........ONS....Tony.
