Namaste V, First of all that is highly commendable, when did I bring up politics? You are talking about Israel not me. I'm talking about justice, ahimsa, asteya, it could be anywhere. It just so happens that I quoted Arun Gandhi, talking in the middle east and Satish Kumar, saying that Gandhijis said we cannot put our daily lives in one compartment and spirituality in another. This is something I believe in very much. Here in Canada we have taken the land off the Native N.Americans, who were in the main nomadic.-no matter. This was done with treaties and those areas that weren't treaties are now being negotiated. They receive self government, resources, territory and compensation for what they have lost. This is being done tribe to tribe. There are two whole provinces or territorises, Nunavut and NW Territory that are inhabited and governed by Inuit and Indians respectively. This is besides the self governing territories in the normal provinces. So an attempt is being made to compensate them for the loss of their range. This is correcting a situation which is some centuries old in many cases. I would feel a little uneasy at spouting my spirituality if I was sitting on stolen land anywhere. ............ONS....Tony.
