Guest guest
and Bingoram-ji, you are right. He was a great spiritual giant, nay a spiritual Warrior who not only gave the 'shirt' off his back but was willing to lay down his life for a just cause. A TRUE MARTYR! but guess what! as PEARL S BUCK commented at the time of gandhiji's assasination... "He was right, he knew he was right. We all knew that he was right. The man who killed him knew he was right." and it is a pity that India of today is choosing not to live by his great ideals! love and regards

Gandhi ji gave the shirt off his back. Winston Churchill called him a naked fakir. When Gandhi went to England, reporters asked how he felt having so few clothes on when he met the king. Gandhi said something like ....the King had enough clothes on for both of them. He had a sense of humor. Gandhi was a yogi. He was called Bapu in India and is considered the spritual father of India. But he was not liked by some people in India then and even now. Gandhi remains a world figure and will continue to do so but some think he was overrated. OSHO said that his nonviolence was actually a form of violence and that Gandhi was actually a very violent man. Tough to please everyone. Love and Blessings! Love, serve, and be helpful, but without getting disgusted, tired, pessimistic, and exhausted. Blessings dear souls, blessings!
