I'm always genuinely ambivalent about it, feeling the need on the one hand to honor factual truths, but at the same time not wanting to insult a devotee of said teacher. Sooo, with that in mind: What appears to be idle gossip is one thing. ANY teacher, no matter how pure, is going to have things said about him/her at some point, human nature being what it is. But matters like being charged with felonies, getting kicked out of a country, having a sangha go completely out of control indulging in every possible form of excess ..... well, I would say that's a little different. That doesn't mean one couldn't have benefitted from certain positive experiences with the teacher. But I think the spiritual community can only evolve by having some degree of critical analysis and some standards of behavior. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Dear One: You are so wise and balanced. Love and blessings Love, serve, and be helpful, but without getting disgusted, tired, pessimistic, and exhausted. Blessings dear souls, blessings!
