Osho, Jiddu, etc.

Although I've done my share of castigating "false" or fallen teachers in

the past, I've cooled it in recent years. I'm always genuinely ambivalent about

it, feeling the need on the one hand to honor factual truths, but at the same

time not wanting to insult a devotee of said teacher.

Sooo, with that in mind: What appears to be idle gossip is one thing. ANY

teacher, no matter how pure, is going to have things said about him/her at some

point, human nature being what it is. But matters like being charged with

felonies, getting kicked out of a country, having a sangha go completely out of

control indulging in every possible form of excess ..... well, I would say

that's a little different.

That doesn't mean one couldn't have benefitted from certain positive

experiences with the teacher. But I think the spiritual community can only

evolve by having some degree of critical analysis and some standards of

behavior.

Dear One:

You are so wise and balanced.

Love and blessings

Love, serve, and be helpful, but without getting disgusted, tired, pessimistic,

and exhausted. Blessings dear souls, blessings!
