I doubt that this is harassment, though it could be, somebody it

seems has been murdered and the links are to the ashram. If the

Sankaracharya is not involved he will be released. I don't think

this is an attack on Hindu institutions or the office of

Sankaracharya per se.

 

I must admit that I am surprised they would take this action though.

For there are many ashrams across India where pedophilia, murder

extortion, fraud etc happen on a daily basis, and due to payola not

a word is said or an action taken..............S
