If you could please put some work in it and put it in paragraphs so that these are easy to read. This is what I have done in the past. Also, I am having to put subject lines on some of these as you do not put them in. Simply cutting and pasting and sending without proper formatting and without putting in informative subject heading seems very automatic to me. Also try to send shortened versions or in parts as it is easier to read and more likely to get read. Guest guest Posted November 17, 2004 Report Share Posted November 17, 2004 Dear, dear Michael: I think what is happening is that you are sending the message in rich text, which this Sangha no longer accepts. If you remember, a few months back, Harsha changed the settings to not accept attachments because of the threats of computer virus. When the settings are changed in this way, any post which is sent in rich text is changed into plain text. With it, the images, fonts, and paragraph layout is lost and the post appears in this font which you are reading. The only way for you to deal with this is to change it to plain text yourself and then you will see what happens. Go to your format menu up on the top of your email program and you will see categories for rich and plain text. It will indicate for you what text the message is in. Then click on the plain text format and you will see the changes. Then you can turn it into paragraph form. A link to where you got the story from would also be helpful. Then we could go there and read it in its original format. BTW, I do want to thank you for your recent postings. There have been some really wonderful stories :-) This one by Paul Brunton was really well written. I can see why he was so popular as a writer. I had read of him, but I had never read him, so this was a treat! Thank you. And Harsha is also right about putting in subject headings...it is really helpful when there is a thread, so people can go through the thread to find how it unfolds. It is not too hard, Michael;-) EG, in this one, you would just take the title of the article, and put "by Paul Brunton" next to it, OK?
