Eating eggs the rationale.

Dear Tony:

There are other reasons why eggs are considered a

poor choice in diet. Although there seems to be

a split in categorizing them as rajasic or tamasic,

they certainly are not considered sattvic.

A simple Google search of "eggs and rajasic foods"

led to some of the links below,

and many more which I will not list...

Some people may find they are allergic to foods

that are considered sattvic, or women may find

that certain foods are not wise for them at certain

stages in their life cycles. Each person has to

examine their needs and their goals, and choose

according to their intuition.

Jeeze Louise, yosy, if you have to continually apologize to Harsha

for what you are typing, why not just delete it first and save us

all the trouble?

Knock it off! How many warnings are needed here??

(and who the heck elected me as moderator, I'm starting to

wonder...?)

It just stuck me as ironic that these two sentences appeared right

next to each other! Ha.

Harshaji has his blind spots, as we all do, only what makes his an

exceptional soul is that he unhesitatingly admits to having them.

He may be fooled by your "sweet" persona, but I am not. I have seen

its other side in equal measure.

I don't trust you, yosy, and I think you're trouble. You refuse to

change your ways even after having received several warnings by

Harsha, who has, in my opinion, been more than gracious with you.

If this were my list, you would have been put on strict moderation a

long time ago. Lucky for you, I guess, it's not! :)

Should I mark the spot on the railing of the boat where dear Yosy fell

in- should we decide to look for him in the future?

I did not notice it but thanks for pointing it out Dear Kheyala. You

are all so funny, and especially you Yosyji and Seesuji and

Shaktidasji. One can never underestimate the entertainment value

here.

Joyceji was pretty funny too advising Tonyji to give up his home to

join the local Indian tribe.

Kheyala ji is right Yosyji. No need to apologize. I am not watching

over you and do not wish to cause anyone any stress. My only intent

is that people respect the list culture which is not difficult to

figure out. Humor in good taste is good. Bad humor must meet a

higher standard of creativity and insight and not the usual cliches.

Words are a form of divine energy. In the beginning, there was the

Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God.

Love to all

Harsha

Namaste H,

I have four Native Grandchildren, is that close

enough?..........ONS..Tony.

***************************

Yes, good enough for me Tonyji!

Hello everyone, I am out of town and just glancing through the messages.

Obviously I missed a lot of them and just now saw the spicy exchange between

Kheylaji and Yosyji. All I ask for is that you two hug each other tightly.

Don't be mad, be glad!

Kheyala ji is absolutely right in saying that I have many blind spots. In

addition, I have many soft spots as well. Blind and soft, you can perhaps

understand my predicament.

Anyway, my moderation has no specific logic anymore (that can be explained) so

please don't hold me to very high standards. Actually, you can hold me to high

standards but it might require my being lifted up to them.

I moderate on whims now. That is my newest strategy.

Dear and Respected Kheyalaji and Vickiji, and Joyceji, perhaps you should be the

moderators!

Love to all

Harsha

Yosy, Yosy, Yosy. No, no, no.

No, Yosy.

Thanks for the nice words Yosy. Yes, I suppose being delicate and

sensitive are my second nature. The soft flower that I am, harsh

words easily offend me. Good for me that I know the essence and

recover easily from this stuff.

Dear Yosy, for me (senstive and delicate that I am), it is not a

compliment to be complimented while in the same breath you are

insulting Kheyala. There are not enough words to describe how

special Kheyala is.

Please get with the program Yosy or I will hand you over to Lady

Joyce.

Love,

Harsha

:) as a wise man remarked, it is not what goes into the mouth that

defiles the man, bout what comes out of it.

the body is indeed a temporary ever-changing state of food. a walking

shit pump, to be blunt (apology, harshiji...)

while satvic food is doubtlessly conductive to the sadhaka's spiritual

progress, at least when setting on the journey, it is more important

to concentrate on the moment to moment enquiry into and remembrance

of the everpresent truth, which is facing us in all forms always, and

our relating to it...

giving too much attention to the body is imo like cultivating a disease or a wound.

respectfully
