Swami Sivananda has a book on mantras and also one on Kundalini yoga. Divine Life Society is the name of the organization. ============================================================ "emptybowlgirl" <emptybowlgirl 2004/12/12 Sun PM 12:45:45 CST Bija Mantras Namaste I am new to Mantras and I want to work with opening my Chakras by using Mantras.My plan was starting in January to repeat each seed Mantrac orresponding to the chakras for 40 days reaching 125,000 times. So in January I was going to repeat Lam for my Muladhara chakra this many times, then move onto Vam and so on. Has anyone done this? Is this a good idea? My information on Mantras have come from Thomas Ashley-Farrands book Healing Mantras. I live in Maryland and so far haven't found anyone to help me.
