It is obvious that Ramana lived in a time where the idea of recycling was not yet born ;-) Today the mass of mind seems to be increasing to such an extent, that we have to get used to the idea of sustaineable development and hence to the idea of recycling! So from now on we should not waste the thoughts by just dropping puttin' them into the garbage! We need to recycle thoughts in order to avoid toxic Wastes. So lets be mindful: If thinking becomes unavoidable, please collect your wastead thoughts according to the gunas: one bucket tamas one bucket rajas one bucket sattva After thinking be mindful and look if there is more tamas ore more rajas. Either we take the rajas in a way that we can burn the tamas, by using it as a fuel to adaequately burn it, or we are taming the rajas be using tamas as a liquid to drop over it. Refining it further there will be no tamas left anymore and no rajas either, using this method. Then there will be only left sattva! Being mindful again we will become aware of the fact that sattvic thoughts are so beautiful and "smell" so sweet that there is no need to do anything with them. So they can circle through all three- brained-beings without creating any harm or mischief. :-)) This is called sustainable Management of thoughts. In fact you can let the sattvic thoughts pass and pecafully abide in the truth - for the truth in the sattvic is the "SAT". Keep your mind tidy Sat Nam Martin Thoughts Recycling Inc. Guest guest
Hello Martin, Another solution for the mind waste management would be not to think... The same applies to physical garbage,'we already have all we need. Advertising, marketing makes us want more', creates more garbage. http://www.peterussell.com/TV/whatwant.ram Audio track challenging some basic assumptions of the consumer culture. by Peter Russell Antoine - gral_im_tee Hello Harsha and all,> Sri Ramana used to say as I vaguely recall that one need not > analyze the > contents of garbage in detail before throwing it away! :-).
