Dear Michael,

just a question and no offense please. You always praise Maharshi

loudly, why then don't you follow his teaching on how to eliminate

thoughts through vichara, which is clear and simple. Your method

involves a whole new thinking process with all that assessing and

imagining, which can't be the purpose.

D: It is said in some books that one should cultivate al the good and

divine qualities in order to prepare oneself for Self-Realization.

Maharshi: For those who follow Jnana Marga, Self Enquiry is quite

enough for acquiring all the divine qualities, they need not do

anything else.

i have to digest your comment

maybe its time to throw away all this concepts and just let me fall in the Grace of the One and Only

i feel t h i s would be the right time to do it

after struggling hard to get to know the real michael

whats the use of doubting my own sincerety continiously?????

so thank you for this hint

Dear Michael,

I am glad you took my comments in "the right spirit", after all, who am

I .....

you wrote:

> maybe its time to throw away all this concepts and just let me fall in

Again, I believe it is not about throwing away concepts and Grace is

always operating without you falling into it. What does that mean

anyway?

No, I believe its about reading Maharshi's words and following his

teachings. It is that simple! The process of self enquiry has been

explained by Bhagawan very clearly and there are excellent commentaries

by his immediate disciples available, which you have read no doubt. It

is just a matter of doing it. And that is maybe the most difficult

part. Doing it every day all the time any time one remembers to do it

until it goes on by itself. Everything else is just psychology and

mental gymnastics not leading anywhere.

With Love

Om Arunachala Shiva

Christiane

P.S. I am sometimes a bit shaken by the force of my own conviction.

Maharshi's teachings are the one thing that I feel really strongly

about. Because they work so well for me, in my love for others I feel

everybody should derive the same benefit from them as I have. And it

pains me to see again and again that there are so many

misunderstandings. Atma Vichara is really easy. If I can do it, you can

do it. Anyone with the inclination can. Om tat sat
