If there is a stunned silence for some it is not of the Atma-Vichara kind but of the hypnosis kind which is a blow to the mind but no elimination of thought. Then comes identification and compassion. I notice in the media nobody has mentioned Darfur recently, where they are dying at 10,000 a week that we know of, or many other places less dramatic or political on the globe. The Chinese have had hundreds of thousands killed in earthquakes over recent years, but nobody goes there for their holidays so it is below the radar. The fascination of the mind and ego know no bounds or tricks. There is only one teaching of the late Ramana really, or well two-;purification and self enquiry.............ONS...Tony.
