Guest guest
Thank you Gabriele. The sincerity of a devotee always evoked a response from Bhagavan. Either in words or in silence. I think it was Kunju Swami who told the beautiful story of a Harijan (untouchable) family that came to visit Bhagavan but hesitated not knowing if it was proper for them to go close to him or not. it was posted once, was it not. Perhaps we can find it again. As he could not understand the language, Natanananda wondered when he would get spiritual experience like them. He became dejected. He leaned on the wall and became unaware of his surroundings. He did not know how long he was in that state. He heard someone shouting to him. He opened his eyes. There was no one except Sri Bhagavan befor him. "Why are you dejected? You could not have come to me if you were not destined to realise the Self in this birth. The Power that brought you here will make you realise the Self. It will do its work either today or some other day. There is no need for dejection." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kunju Swami: Reminiscences, pp. 164f ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Can't we take this promise of Bhagavan verbally for us too?!!
