Guest guest
Dear Suri, It's great to note your experiences at NYC. It brings back my past memories of my visit to Arunachala Ashrama the very first time last year. Indeed i was very new to NY and somehow managed to get the address and proceeded to the Ashram by train. I got down at Forest hills and from there i didn't know how to proceed. I was blinking like a child lost in a crowd. Just then an elderly white gentleman came to me and asked me what was the matter. I showed him the address and also asked him to help me out in locating the Ashram. He took me to a roadside map and showed me the directions for the Ashram and also accompanied me for some distance. He made sure that i can go alone without further help. It is indeed the Grace of Sri Bhagvan who i believe He Himself came in the form of an elderly gentleman to take me through. His Grace is too much on us. in Sri Bhagvan, sriram RamanaMaharshi, suri suryanarayan <suri_suryanarayan> wrote: > > om namo bhagavate sri ramanaya > om sri gurave namah > > I returned to Mumbai today after a business tour marked by a very memorable visit to Arunachala Ashram in New York on December 23, on the way back. Guest guest
There was no reply. After a time Sri Bhagawan went up the hill and a few followed him, including the pandit. There was a thorny stick lying on the way which Sri Bhagawan picked up; he sat down and began leisurely to work at it. The thorns were cut off, the knots were made smooth, the whole stick was polished with a rough leaf. The whole operation took about six hours. Everyone was wondering at the fine appearance of the stick made of a spiky material. A shepered boy put in his appearance on the way as the group moved off. He had lost his stick and was at a loss. Sri Bhagawan immediately gave the new one in his hand to the boy and passed on. The pandit said that this was the matter-of-fact answer to his question.
