The following poem by Rumi reminds me of

what Sri Ramana used to say that we are always the Self and one day we

will laugh at having missed the obvious for so long.

"I have lived on the lip

of insanity, wanting to know reasons,

knocking on a door.

It opens.

I've been knocking from the inside!"
