Guest guest
A person asked Bhagawan .: The world is composed of differances, from our point of view. How shall we able to get over these differances and comprehend the One Essence of all things? Bhagawan Sri Ramana Maharshi.: The differances are the result of the sense of doership (kartritva). The fruits will be destroyed if the root is destroyed. So relinquish the sense of doership; the differances will vanish and the essential reality will reveal itself. In order to give up the sense of doership one must seek to find out who the doer is. Enquire within; the sense of doership will vanish. Vichara (enquiry) is the method. I am having a moment of confusion. [shut up, yosy!] To repeat what Ramana says: > In order to give up the sense of doership one must seek to find out who the doer is. Enquire within; the sense of doership will vanish. and Tony Parsons says: > There is no separate intelligence weaving a destiny... I had a hard day today because I was thinking I was the doer and I thought I blew it. Things only felt better when I realized I was mistaken on both counts. So... could *both* of those first statements possibly be true, that 1) Who I think I am may not be the doer, and 2) there's no separate intelligence weaving my destiny? Could it be that I ACTUALLY AM that intelligence, and that, therefore, everything, as it is, is exactly as it should be? Whoa. Could life be THAT GOOD??? Could life be THAT GOOD??? Namaste,IMHO, 1.There is in fact only an illusion of God --------Saguna. 2. Everything we do is predetermined and we aren't the doer anyway. 3. Ramana-body/mind was running on prarabda as well. 4. The only thing we can own in illusion is our attitude and I'm not even sure of that. So whilst we are in illusion our karma is predeterming by our attitude to happenings in this life, or a previous 'life' That's it folks only your attitude appears to be the variable...ONS..Tony. When you put all this nonsense together it will become obvious that nothing happens at all.
