Guest guest
ahh, dear Marifa, that's how it's been/being played, the one pretends to forget just to put on a great show, the show of each lifetime, the greatest show, of all time, it is the story of "Marifa" and "anna", how we forgot who we are just to find the way back. They called this "sleeping". Its a Way Back to where we never left It is the Way of noOne. And it is just to play this great game of who am I, the Only Dance There Is. And you know the Sufi story don't you? God was sleeping and having amnesia, forgot Who God was, and asked "Who Am I" (that's what you get for sleeping too long!) stretched out as the Universe and now the Universe is asking "Who Am I'. The really good thing is more and more of the Who of the whose-who know Who is the I Am... An Embrace into/as One. love, anna - Emanuele De Benedetti Friday, June 10, 2005 12:54 PM Re: The amazing power of the universe within Real strange techniques they used in the past! to realise you are the universe you have to forget that you are it! why don't go directly into being all? one has to shrink to a dimensionless point to go through and come out the other side as the vastness all embracing Marifa - Michael Bowes Friday, June 10, 2005 2:46 PM The amazing power of the universe within The following is from the Vivekacudamani of Sankara: 339. Some of them (techniques/people) may seem quite strange. Not all techniques are for everybody. But you shouldn’t think that the process of discrimination alluded to in the selection from the Vivekacudamani is one that was only used in the past. It is still used now, predominantly by sanyasis in India, although there are others who use it as well. 12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:blue"> 12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:blue">Here is a brief passage from the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna that states the same truth in different words: 12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:blue"> 12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:blue">From the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, page 477 12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:blue"> 12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:blue">Master: “The jnani reasons about the world through the process of ‘Neti, neti’, and at last reaches the Eternal and Indivisible Satchidananda.
