Real strange techniques they used in the past!

to realise you are the universe you have to forget that you are it!

why don't go directly into being all?

one has to shrink to a dimensionless point to go through

and come out the other side as the vastness all embracing :)

The amazing power of the universe within

The following is from the Vivekacudamani of Sankara:

339. To realize the whole universe as the Self is the means of

getting rid of bondage. There is nothing higher than identifying the

universe with the Self. One realizes this state by excluding the

objective world through steadfastness in the eternal Atman.

355. The Sannyasin, calm, self-controlled, perfectly retiring from

the sense-world, forbearing, and devoting himself to the practice of

Samadhi, always reflects on his own self being the Self of the whole

universe. Destroying completely by this means the imaginations which

are due to the gloom of ignorance, he lives blissfully as Brahman,

free from action and the oscillations of the mind.

ahh, dear Marifa,

that's how it's been/being played, the one pretends to forget just to put on a

great show, the show of each lifetime, the greatest show, of all time, it is the

story of "Marifa" and "anna", how we forgot who we are just to find the way back.

They called this "sleeping". Its a Way Back to where we never left It is the Way

of noOne. And it is just to play this great game of who am I, the Only Dance There Is.

And you know the Sufi story don't you? God was sleeping and having amnesia, forgot

Who God was, and asked "Who Am I" (that's what you get for sleeping too long!)

stretched out as the Universe and now the Universe is asking "Who Am I'.

The really good thing is more and more of the Who of the whose-who know Who is the I Am...

An Embrace into/as One.

love,

anna

:)) hmmm... past? what past?

you don't "have to" - anything.

you can't go - anywhere.

you do not shrink

nor you expand.

what can you embrace?

look 'outside': all is you

look 'inside': there is no you...

look...

oh, forget it!
