Guest guest
Hello friends, I`m new to this group and a devotee of Sri Ramana. There is one practical thing is His teachings that it is still not so clear to me. Sometimes he says that atma-vichara is for the ones who are prepared - for the "riped souls" - and in other ocasions he says that atma vichara is for anyone who fells drawn or attracted to such practice. I personally feel very attracted to self-enquiry - as I`m trying to practice it now - but for sure I`m not a "ripe" or mature soul. So my question is: should I continue atma vichara or should I first devote myself to some "preliminar" practices and exercices (like meditation on my breath, neti-neti, "I am He", etc.)? Does anybdy know any quotation of the Maharshi which clarifies this? Yours in Bhagavan, Giovanni
