Guest guest
Zenbabaji, Mazie and all ...> There is one other picture of Yogananda that I love...> it is of him playing the autoharp and looking like a> delighted young boy...despite the fact that he must> have been 55 or 60 in the photo!this isn't an autoharp but certainly his face expressesthe boyish delight you speak of:http://www.guruji.it/galleria/yogananda/nuove3/esraj.jpgthere are 11 pages of photographs here:http://www.guruji.it/galleria/yogananda/page_001.htm-ts- Dearest ts, It is indeed a boyish youthfulness expressed in his countenance!Gurudeva often reminds his devotees to be childlike, not childish. "Except ye become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Even in this the last picture taken of Paramahansa Yogananadaji, called "The Last Smile," photographed right before he gave a talk on Love and meditation, and of India "India ...where men dream God - I am hallowed, for my body has touched that sod!" his contenance is so sweetly youthful in appearance. Then ts ... at those exquisite and loving words, with those last beautiful words spoken in such rapture, Guruji turned his eyes upwards toward the Kutashta Chaitanya, the Christ center, (the place between the eyebrows - referred to as the Ajna chakra), and he manifested the Truth of I Am in the Yogi's final, conscious exit - Mahasamashi ... The Great Death, The Wedding Day, as Rumi coins it. Thank you, ts, for this so lovely photograph of Master. As I Am, Mazie
