Dear Valerie:

Welcome back to the group. Please accept my

condolences on your mother's passing. Losing

parents is a very difficult rite of passage into aloneness

in the world. May you know peace and acceptance of it.

There are probably a lot of new members since you left.

I would be most interested in knowing what you mean

when you say you are still on your rock :-)

Love,

Joyce

hello lady joyce,

thankyou for your kindness.

i remember you lived in Pennsylvania, right?

Took (take?) the most beautiful photos of the area -

how's my long-term memory?

SE Alaska = Alexander Archipelago = submerged mountain range made of

volcanic rock.

Dirt is a commodity here.

There's also the 'Alcatraz' implication, i suppose,

esp when cabin fevered - people say, "i gotta get OFF this rock!!!"

cannot drive or walk off - gotta swim or fly.

i guess that's the same element which makes it

"special".

:-)

love,

v

Dear v...

You have an incredible long term memory. Time IS an

illusion...I did not realize I had been here so long :-)

I do live in PA and thanks for your kind words.

Love,

Joyce

PS Happy flying...Hawaii sounds good to me!!!
