Guest guest
Dear Valerie: Welcome back to the group. Please accept my condolences on your mother's passing. Losing parents is a very difficult rite of passage into aloneness in the world. May you know peace and acceptance of it. There are probably a lot of new members since you left. I would be most interested in knowing what you mean when you say you are still on your rock :-) Love, Joyce - "metaphysxx" <beatha <> Tuesday, August 30, 2005 3:07 AM time being illusion > greetings to all; > > i was on this list for quite a few years, then - after a purge of > computer - have been gone for a few years. Took (take?) the most beautiful photos of the area - how's my long-term memory? > > There are probably a lot of new members since you left. > I would be most interested in knowing what you mean > when you say you are still on your rock :-) > > Love, SE Alaska = Alexander Archipelago = submerged mountain range made of volcanic rock. Dirt is a commodity here. There's also the 'Alcatraz' implication, i suppose, esp when cabin fevered - people say, "i gotta get OFF this rock!!!" cannot drive or walk off - gotta swim or fly. i guess that's the same element which makes it "special". :-) love, v
