Guest guest
There is no fast food approach to Kundalini Awakening. When the student is ready the teacher appears. Further KA involves dedication and serious spiritual purpose. As has been pointed it out severe trauma can trip it into action - not usually pleasant. Better to learn to "ground" first. Beyond that following the teaching of Ramana Maharshi will led you to whatever spiritual experiences are appropriate for you and your path in this life. Seeking the "experience" is the worst possible motivation. A person whom I had occasion to help, abused the process of Yoga and diet with the result that he stripped the myelin sheath from his CNS and it took 7 years to recover his health. He had contant mini-seizures, much pain from muscle collapsing due to random nerve shocks from the wide-open CNS. During this period he had to stop all meditation practices because that triggered more ill effects. Enough said. , anton recio <mrrfle> wrote: > > Yes supposedly there are many ways but the bulk of them seem to lack direct energy in motion, which is what I am looking for. Guest guest
I am new to spiritualism but am very interested in the seeking. I have often heard of the Kundalini awakening but have no true picture of it. I though it was an energy that rises from your mooladharna & goes up to the sahasra chakra. Sometimes when I sit & try to mediate & feel some thing is happening in my mooladharna chakra & then I can feel the energy rising. Then I feel very flushed & I begin to sweat. Could you please tell me what is it I am experiencing? What do you mean by the mylin sheath has been stripped? Thank you. pranaams peace & God bless may you have enough PadmaJohn Logan <johnrloganis > wrote: There is no fast food approach to Kundalini Awakening. When the student is ready the teacher appears.Further KA involves dedication and serious spiritual purpose. Guest guest
Hi John, Can you explain how you knew your friend had stripped the myelin sheath from his central nervous system, and what caused it? I know you said abuses of yoga and diet, but I would like to understand what is meant by this more fully. Thanks, Jill On Sep 4, 2005, at 2:27 AM, John Logan wrote: > There is no fast food approach to Kundalini Awakening. > When the student is ready the teacher appears. > > Further KA involves dedication and serious spiritual purpose.
