Guest guest
I went through the link quickly, all three chapters. Its like a book! It is well written, offers the usual information available from other direct sources. It is not aimed at devotees but at Brunton scholars perhaps… (Although I could not tell who it is aimed at). Sometimes Sri Ramana’s statements and words are used to reach conclusions that the author appears to want to reach (the difficulty with this approach is that Sri Ramana said different things at different times to different people and never worried about consistency). Therefore, it is possible to reach a number of different and opposing conclusions by selectively quoting Bhagavan without appreciating the context of his very human personality. In my view, it is difficult to write meaningfully about the Sage of Arunachala without a grasp of Sri Ramana’s teachings that comes fully only with the experience and knowledge of the Self. Guest guest
thank you deeply for your work for us all. What you wrote In my view, it is difficult to write meaningfully about the Sage of Arunachala without a grasp of Sri Ramana’s teachings that comes fully only with the experience and knowledge of the Self. is exactly that what i feel. This advice has to be followed - if we do not want to end up again and again in intellectuality, in mind illusions, in suffering. May this light of TRUTH shine in us and help us moment to moment..... in Ramana michael Click here to donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort.
