We have karmic responsibilities that are attachments not relatives.

God is one and cannot be divided into mother, father, children,

grandchildren. All people in the world are our brothers and sisters,

even our family.

 

Our family are people we have some karmic destiny with, we are

supposed to love them without attachment as we should love all

people. Nobody is special everybody is special as God.

 

To take it a step further, not being judgmental as God cannot be

divided into more and less; the animals and all beings are our

brothers and sisters as St Francis would address them.

 

The feeling of special relative or family comes from the sense of

mine and the ego; my child, my grandchild etc, as opposed to my

neighbours grandchild.

 

Hard to do separate love from attachment...............ONS...Tony.
