It is not the need for sex that interferes with some, but the attachment to it. Sex is a biological function that is essentially necessary for humans. For we are as sexual as the Bonobo Pygmy Chimps. Being sexual is being human, just as much as eating is. People have so many 'hang-ups' due to religious dogma etc that they miss the whole point. There is nobody looking or judging your sexual behaviours, anymore than anyone is looking at you walking, eating, or going to the toilet. One has to accept the fact that the human body is sexual and that cannot be changed. Again the only thing that can be changed is attitude. If one thinks abstention from sex will propel one to Moksha then one can say the same thing about food and eating. The only liklehood to come from abstention is frustration and an enlarged prostate, not liberation. Krishna and Rama and many other Avatars were sexual in their daily lives. The only solution is to rise above being human with its body and needs. Eating, drinking, defecating, and sexual activity will not prevent moksha for they are natural samskaras...........ONS...Tony. --- End forwarded message ---
