If there is no duality of illusion and reality, no caring about the difference of all these states. Deep sleep or any other state and 'time is catching up' ... change of state. I know 'first place' is a common expression just like 'time is catching up', but because I have a feeling it does not (at least to me) express what you really want (not:) to say, I could for this moment pretend I did not know and ask: In which place do you find your self saying: 'neither happened in the first place'? In the place where "nothing ever happened", there is no one to care or claim it. "Nothing ever happened" and "something is happening" are the same place. What a beautiful mystery! Time arises as an idea after the ego arises.
