Perhaps you

know that West Bengal, India has many Devi Temples. Sri Ramakrishna was a

priest at the Kali Temple in Dakshineshwar and the the Ramakrishna Order

of Monks, are headquartered at Belur Math on the opposite bank of the

Ganges. If you went there you might be able to get

some advice from them.

Also, you might

email the Kali Mandir in Laguna Beach,

California. They can be

contacted at devotees (AT) kalimandir (DOT) org

.. Several of the devotees travel to India regularly and are more informed

than I.
